My old band
supported Pussy Galore once in Birmingham. Instead of a drum kit they miked up a Harley Davidson. It sounded incredible. We had a nicer tour van than theirs and when we got back to it it was plastered with notes. We were thrilled until we realized they were all for Pussy Galore. The fans clearly thought the scuzzy van belonged to the support band!
Wow!
