Good Luck Fulham!

Clint Oyster's picture

I'm not a Fulham fan, but there can't be many footie lovers who don't wish Fulham well tonight. I don't mean to sound patronising but for a club of their current standing just to reach the final of the Europa League, never mind win it, is a phenomenal achievement.

Frankly, if a certain team from Merseyside had won it, it would have been branded as another glorious European trophy for Liverpool, whereas in reality of course the Europa League would have been nothing more than a plate competition for them (best of the first round losers). For Fulham to have come this far and to have beaten the teams they have shows real merit.

I don't know Roy Hodgson personally of course, but he seems to me to be the epitome of a proper gent; old fashioned in a good way (I love the way he always refers to 'The Arsenal' with the definite article: almost quaint!) and with a certain sense of class and morals. For Mr Hodgson alone I wish Fulham all the best. Good luck!

Oh dear.

Athletico Madrid, what have you done now? You've only gone and made Lily Allen cry.

So do I.

Good as he is at Fulham, Hodgson would be out of his depth at Liverpool.

They lost, but there was nothing in it...

(apart from a goal, obviously) and the team and manager can be proud of an incredible achievement. Proper football manager that Hodgson fella...

I always rated

that chap Dago Forlorn when he played for The Shit. Much misunderstood by them I thought.

he was ok for United but he was never going to displace van nistelrooj as the lone striker plus rooney was always on his way to Old Trafford. nice to see he has been doing well for the past few seasons

will always be remembered for his goals against the mickeys
