Glen Tilbrook - He can sing a bit!

I've just listened to the album he's just released with 9 Below Zero under the name of The Co-Operative. There's a version of 'Some Day I'll Fly Away' on it which is just gorgeous. Also included is a great cover of 'You Never Give Me Your Money' originally written by the Difford & Tilbrook of their generation - smashing!

I saw a gig on their joint tour last year...
...it seemed to divide the punters (and certainly meant the ticket price was higher than it usually is when NBZ came round usually).
One disgruntled punter - a beefy man who regularly turns up and head wags earnestly at Belfast blues gigs - shouted in exasperation from the back, at one point, 'Play some blues!'
who would have thought anyone would need to make such protestations at an NBZ show!
I thought it made a refreshing change and all onstage certainly seemed to enjoy the partnership/novelty...
