Is it good then?
I was actually going to watch it but I couldn't work out from the trailers if it was ironic (good) or just camp (bad). If enough Word people here say it's good then I'll give it a go.
It's OK, I'm not sure if I'm
It's OK, I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with it though - Ugly Betty meets the X Factor. We turned over for Nurse Jackie rather than watch the second episode.
I saw the trailer
and decided to pass.
It was Good
It was really funny , it's not as sentimental as Ugly Betty .Worth checking out.
UglyBetty
being like Tess of The D'Urbervilles when it comes to sentiment I suppose.
It's been showing in Australia for a while
We've only caught the odd episode, but the GLW and I really enjoy it - good, harmless fun.
The FPO and I have seen it all, and...
... we love it - watched it all twice, in fact. If you liked the first episodes you'll enjoy the whole series as if anything it gets better as it goes along. E4 have been pushing it as a High School Musical clone, but it's much sharper than that, though it's primary appeal is admittedly as a feelgood viewing hour.
The actors playing the lead schoolgirl and the teacher are both Broadway veterans and get great showcases during the series, but the real star is cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch. She has a few good lines in the initial episodes, but as the series progresses she really comes into her own and comes out with some hysterical stuff ("Wheelchair ramps? I call 'em 'Lazy-makers'...")
Any show
that describes teenagers as 'tone deaf acne factories' get my vote.
A riposte
to Mr Drayton. No it Isn't. I will if I feel like It. No it Isn't.
it's ok
A bit like a slightly sarcastic version of High School Musical. I watched both of the episodes on E4 yesterday, and it kept me entertained if nothing else. A bit of mindless television.
