George Lamb Not Rubbish Shock

I don't mean to start a fight, but I'm just listening to George Lamb, and finding his show quite entertaining. I used to think he was absolutely rubbish, but I now think I may have been wrong.
Has the world changed, or have I changed?

Haven't heard his new programme...
... but I'm assuming he's been ordered to lay off the cruddy sound effects at seven in the morning. That alone would provoke a vast improvement.
If he's stopped singing over the end of songs as well, it would be like listening to another DJ
At least it starts late.
I gave up on 6Music weekend breakfast a couple of months after Iyare started. These days I catch up with any Marc Riley shows that I've missed during the week - it makes a surprisingly good breakfast show. I've got so used to it now that there's no point in taking the risk with Lamb although at least the new show doesn't start until late so if I do want to hear a live breakfast show on 6 Music while I'm eating my breakfast on a Saturday, I can listen to Clare McDonnell until 7.
