What can I say?

I'm not a Foo Fighters fan, but I salute Dave Grohl.

Thats the problem with letting Andy Kershaw into your audience

Was the striped shirt that gave him away.

In search of the holy Arpeggio.

Stagey

...does it seem just a teeny bit stagey???

Just thinking the same

Loads of camera angles. Good quality audio. A guy goes into an FF show being filmed like that and starts a fight?

For the defence, M'lud

An awful lot of shows, or bits of them, have been filmed for tv or video from the last tour. T in the Park, the Radio 1 show, Milton Keynes, That one looked like the iTunes Roundhouse show... and that's just the UK ones.

Anyways, Dave Grohl - chap!

It was at the iTunes festival

Hence the quality. Fuckwits are fuckwits precisely because they do idiot things like that.

Maybe.

But he is on a stage, so I forgive him that.

ganglesprocket | 14 July 2011 - 9:14am

Ace, but...

....he did something that is a bugbear of mine. He used the "my" word - people came to The Foo Fighters's show not Dave Grohl's. Group, band = plural. Please Dave, it's "our show".

(See also singers in groups who talk about 'my drummer' or 'my bass player').

You don't fool me Charlie

I think Mr Grohl was grandstanding a little there.

A bit of trouble at a rock concert? Say it isn't so.
I'm sorry but there is nothing clever about public humiliation.
Get over yourself, let security take care of it and get on with the show.
