Richard Thompson is playing a couple of nights at The Stables, near Milton Keynes to raise money for the venue. July 12th & 13th as part of a short European tour.
I'm umm-ing and ahh-ing about getting a ticket as I'm fairly skint at the moment.

I am, I have to declare, an RT virgin! (I mean that in the sense I've never seen Mr Thompson live. Although I've never had sex with him either).

More accurately from 'those there' parts as I shall merely be 'passing through' on my way to Latitude.
But by lucky hap, a business meeting has been arranged in MK on the 13th, a trip which gets me halfway across the country en route to the rear end of Suffolk - and my plans for a cheeky fruity drink with the Drakeys in the evening stopover coincided with the RT concert which they were already attending.
Hurrah!
It would have been rude not to join them.
Oh, and should any Massivistas in the MK area be heading on down to Latitude, you're welcome to have a lift on the Thursday morning. I shall have a couple of seats and a bit of boot space available too.
EDIT: I don't normally take a good picture at concerts, but I'm quite happy with this one. Here's the man with his lad at Glastonbury last year...
