Newcastle 3 Man U 0

Fergie's 71st year not starting well

And Tim Howard (goalkeeper) has scored for Everton with a clearance kick ....

Great result for Newcastle...

but what are the odds of a £15million plus Andy Carroll offer from Liverpool for Demba Ba ?

Or...

... £15 million plus Andy Carroll to Everton for Tim Howard - he does know how to find the net.

hmmm

from Fergie's point of view, although he won't happy with the goals (two punts up the park from the goalie and a postage stamp free kick from outside the box), the more worrying thing will be the lack of zing around the opponents' penalty area i think ... once Newcastle went 2-0 up, Man U were camped on the 18 yard line for 10-15 mins, just about and it was the inability to make the breakthrough at that point that was key (er, as well as conceding two goals of course) ... they're also missing a world class midfielder, a settled defence and a first choice goalie ... happy times in ToonTown of course ... i suspect there might be an email winging its way to the US tomorrow though

Dear Mr Glazer,
Wesley Sneijder now or else. I'm 70, i've got three years and your profit margin is now expendable.
Sincerely
SAF

I predicted at

the start of the season that Spurs would finish second. I wish i had some money on it now but I, as many other have, have written off Fergie and United before................

apologies to Newcastle

My post above was v much from a Man U pt of view. That said, with a following wind and some luck Newcastle may finish above Liverpool, but certainly below Mancs C and U, Chelsea, Spurs and the Arse. 6th best, 7th-10th more likely...
