Bloody lovely

Let's have more dancing performing popstars.

Leads nicely on to this video. One of my favourite REM tracks.

Peter Buck there

...really getting into the spirit of things, no doubt imagining retribution via an album of melody-free distortion...

I never thought I'd see David Hepworth

playing guitar with the B-52s that's for sure...

I've always loved her voice. Here's some early B52s.

All pretenders to the throne

There can be only one:

As usual

the answer is Cliff Richard. Pointy fingers, white man's overbite, the hip sway, the knee raise...the default model for dad dancing ever since.

"Devil Woman"

Flippin' Lightweights the lorrofem!

There can only be one, and every time I see Andy jig his jig for me, I get those dad-dance bubble-perm blues all over again...

I wonder what would happen..

If you applied Autotune to Cindy Wilson's vocals? Assuming you'd first armour-plated the computer and made the circuitboards from asbestos. Would it still sound like the B-52's?
