A fly in the ointment

Amidst much deserved revelry and congratulations to Word magazine being recognized for being the best at what they do (which we already knew) I felt it was my duty to put a fly in ointment in the full knowledge that we're all adults here and that Sir Hepworth can take it on the chin

So, when did they get it wrong?

For me there were two tracks that slipped onto Word cd's that I thought were, well, woeful. And yes, I know it's all a matter of taste blah de blah but really,

The Pierces - Boring (no, that was the name of the song, which was a bit ironic but not in an Alanis Morrisette way)
and
Someone whose name I've thankfully forgotten with some utter trash about liking 'Big Trucks'.

Come on, get on with the gripes people. It's constructive criticism!! So they can win again next year :)

Sorry to disagree

But, much like Kendall Carson herself, I like trucks. A cracking song, and one of the most memorable from a word CD in a long time.

I disagree too!

I went out and spent a hard earned £10 on the Pierces album (one of very few I expect!)and rather liked it...No accounting for taste.

I am also liking trucks

The only thing that annoyed me about it being on the CD is that I'd paid 79p for it not 2 days before.
