First Cornbury Act!
Posted by Cornwall Guy on 4 January 2009 - 9:39pm.
The brilliant-last-year Imelda May let slip on Johnnie Walker's programme this afternoon that she will be returning to Cornbury this year.
Does anyone want to speculate as to any others? It could be that someone says "That's a good idea, are they available?"

How does one go about
getting an act on there? Is it tricky?
Wouldn't mind
seeing the Waterboys again. They were great a couple of years ago.
And make sure the headliner is an act who knows what headlining a festival is all about, and sends you home with a big smile on your face. I didn't think David Gray was a very good choice, and apparently Paul Simon wasn't either.
Good reason
Hugh Phillimore the Festival Director is May's manager. He wouldn't be much of a one is he didn't get her that gig!
She's always on?
She was on last year and the year before too wasn't she? I thought her very average - surely there are other low bill position artists we could have for a change.
I presume that act 2 to be confirmed will be...
The Love Trousers?
