Festive Fifty?

badartdog's picture

Are we doing a Festive Fifty this year? I think it was about this time last year that it was set up by (I think) Andrew Harrison. Is there going to be one this year?
If not, feel free to dump your top 5 tracks of the year here.
If there is, please feel free to amend or delete this post as appropriate.
If monumentally sick to bloody death of lists please feel free to ignore this post altogether.

We can do it if you like

but I did worry that everyone might be a bit worn out after the grand Spotify the Noughties Marathon. What do you think? Show of hands?

YES PLEASE!

Although I did think last year's was spoilt somewhat by having the whole of The Seldom Seen Kid in there

I've got a small handful of tracks I'd like to chip in.

If we're doing one.

Call me grumps

But I'm buggered if I can stretch to five tracks I liked this year.

Struggling with albums this year...

... but not tracks. Could happily oblige in this case...

Thumbs aloft here

Might help me in spending the iTunes vouchers my parents have gotten into the habit of giving me each Christmas...

when do we begin?

Top 5 tracks seems to be in the affirmative

When do suggestions get allowed?

Can I do it now?

The 50

I'll set up an "official" form in the morning.

Ten reasons I don't like lists:

1. Only joking...

Andrew, Fraser - cheers

- the reason I'd be interested is that I don't think there has been a Seldom Seen Kid this year - so I can't predict any patterns. Having said that, at least three of mine would come from one album.

I thought 2009's Seldom Seen Kid

was The Duckworth Lewis Method

Seldom Seen Kid (Abbey Road Live Version)

... well there is the Abbey Road live version that was released in November, so in theory we could do it all again ;-)
