Favourite Car CD...

... at the moment it's El Camino - The Black Keys. The kids always want Jessie J on and the FPO wants Reinhard Mey (don't even ask).

El Camino is a fine cd but sounds better in the car than anywhere else for some reason.
It's only a matter of time...
... before I get a speeding fine - and it'll be the Black Keys' fault.
Whatever you do,
don't try listening to any Humble Pie in the car. Particularly Smokin'. Far too risky.
Just Loading
my iPhone for a 3 hour trip this afternoon: John Mayer, Continuum, a Todd Rundgren anthology, Paul Simon, so Beautiful Or So What. I feel like singing along today.
Tom Petty
1 I think Tom Petty sounds brilliant in the car (or anywhere else for that matter). I'd go for Damn The Torpedoes followed by Full Moon Fever as perfect CDs for the car.
2 The Faces - A Nod's As Good As A Wink ...
3 A Hard Day's Night
4 Bob Seger - Against The Wind or Night Moves
5 Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Not my top 5 favourites otherwise but superb in-car entertainment.
Tom Petty`s the Man
for the car as is Mr George Thorogood played f*****` loud.
Yep, Damn The Torpedoes
and Rumours are both great driving albums. Graham Parker's The Up Escalator also.
Oh and JAMC's Automatic.
Charlie rich
The CD from the 60s that was re released last year - It Aint gonna be that way. It swings!
Kassidy
Still doing Hope Street. The girls love the Hairy Corries.
Usually...
...a mix on the iPod but has to include Stop Breakin'in My Heart, Tom Verlaine, studio version and live
Had this one cranked in the Buick last night
This album doesn't let up...propulsive and brilliant from start to finish....and yes I was going a little fast.
