Favourite album titles

Stephen G's picture

Just read an article which mentioned The Mekons, which reminded me of their album called "The Quality of Mercy Is Not Strnen", with a chimp sitting at a typewriter on the cover. Excellent stuff.

Other favourite album titles and covers?

I Am Not Afraid Of You and I Will Beat Your Ass

Is the title of Yo La Tengo's brilliant 2006 album. Probably my fave.

Is it good?

Have thought about downloading it from eMusic several times but not quite made it.

yes, I think so

It's quite 'noodly' (but not in a bad way) and a bit eclectic/ all over the place, but I really like it a LOT. I think you'd either love it or hate it. It reminds me a bit of Wilco crossed with Grandaddy, if that's any help.

There's a short review here, which I think sums it up quite well - http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,1532769,00.html
