Entertainment For Lively Minds
Fancy a pint in London, next Friday 4th November?
Posted by Hannah on 26 October 2011 - 5:03pm.
Hello chaps!
Blimey, this mingle's come around quickly.... well, if you like drinking real ale, eating cake, talking about music & nonsense, and you happen to live within shouting distance of That London, then please join us for the next London Mingle on Friday 4th Nov.
Newbies warmly welcomed, always lovely to meet new people. Drop me a line if you're thinking about coming for the first time!
Venue details and sign-up sheet in the comments.
Mine's a sparkling water. Usually.

Penguins!
Our new venue is King and Queen, 1 Foley Street, W1W 6DL. We'll be in the upstairs room. People generally start arriving from 6pm onwards, tends to get rather busy from 7pm onwards.
The pub is less than a mile from Euston Station (the very nearest tubes - 3 minutes walk away - are Goodge Street on the Northern, Warren Street on the Northern and Victoria. Oxford Circus and Great Portland Street tubes are less than 10 minutes walk)
Should be plenty of on-road parking in the surrounding streets (you might have to pay for meter parking for a while, depending on what time you arrive, but Congestion Charging stops at 6pm.)
We have the upstairs room to ourselves, it's a nice space. There's real ale in the bar downstairs, staff seem nice and friendly, and they have a CD in the room with an ipod connection (umm, we probably need to arrange who djs and when a bit better than last time).
There's no room hire charge or minimum spend; all they ask is that we do a whip-round in support of Macmillan cancer support.
Cakes, pork pies, badges, CD giveaways, book swaps all happening as usual. CD theme is “Food and Heaven” (don’t look at me, that’s Beezer and LeedsBoy)
Here's my list of people that I believe are coming so far – I know I’m missing loads of people, so please add your name!

PS date for your diary: next mingle will be Friday January 6th.
PPS currently taking cake requests, speak now if there's something you particularly fancy.
I am coming along Hannah and
I am coming along Hannah and so is Mondo.
Brilliant!
It'll be lovely to meet you in person. See you there!
Yep
Meeting in London scientifically planned for maximum assurance of early arrival!
Alas
no longer able to go due to work commitments now taking me out of London late Thursday night rather than Saturday morning.
Merde and all that.
*sulking face*
Ohh, that's a shame Bisto. Hopefully another time though.
Defintely
will happen one day.
If only to provide you with some French Fancies of my own.
*Carry On style oo'er missus face*
Sorry.
Can't do this one. Bonfire Night thing with the Boblets. Next time.
*does a Paddington hard stare*
I see.
Self self self
OK. Fine (it's not fine)
Tiresome joshing aside, we'll miss you mate. Do enjoy the evening with the little ones.
The Beezer brand of tiresome...
...is absolutely one of my favourite brands of tiresome. I'll miss you all too. See you in Jan? Assuming you're not off doing your superhero thing in the provinces (away with work my arse).
Jan?
I don't think I know her.
You want tiresome? I got tiresome to burn, Baby.
Yes, that's still on. Currently.
As is - and DFB will I'm sure join in on the chorus - a mini TVM Mingle in Dec. I see no reason why you don't get yo wisecrackin ass down to that, mofo.
On a lighter note, work really can fuck off at the moment.
Ooh. Yes. My first TVM mingle.
Count my utterly tedious ass in.
Yes. Bring a Donkey
Good. In a very sort of way.
'Fraid not
Mini Milky's 1 that day, so will be at home celebrating that.
Next one's in January, isn't it?
Have a good one!
Happy Birthday to the Mini-milk!
Yes, Friday Jan 6th. Hopefully see you then!
Very likely to be there...
... if I'm not at that Newscastle for a family thing...
Taking bootleg DVD requests
anyone want anything from AC\DC to Zappa. Let It Be? Cocksucker Blues? Bowie Cracked Actor or 50th Birthday show? Madness? Clash? Pistols? Pulp? Oasis? Blur?
Ask and it shall be given.
Dear Dog
May I please have a Let it Be? I owned a 3rd gen copy many years ago on VHS, but binned it as the quality was so poor. Regretted it since, with every passing year.
LIB
DFB kindly gave me a copy which I have now watched so I'll bring that along for anyone who wants it.
Rosbif, please do "Songs they won't play on the radio 2". Still playing it!
I musht have been pished at the last one....I was convinced I only took Rosbif's CD and Let it Be but the other day I found three or four more CDs by the stereo which are clearly from the Mingle which have no recollection of bringing home!
Thanks Twangothan,
I'd like to put in first dibs for it, please, if that's okay.
Loving all your CDs too - great work, people! Am now inspired to make a few of my own and bring them along.
Mas de prob mon vieux
It has your name on it!
Did you get my "Acoustic maestros"? I love that one.
Thank you so much!
I didn't get it, sadly; I usually turn up quite late to these things, and CDs have generally been quite depleted by that point.
How many copies, do you think, is it best to run off? Too few, I suppose, makes people wish they'd burned more. Too many, and it could result in a lonely and unloved pile... or are the trestle tables almost always picked clean, locust-fashion?
5 of each
I did. 5 Little Feat - Electrif Lycanthrope, 5 Acoustic Maestros and five of my own CD which I begged Captain Underpants to discretely remove and chuck in a bin somewhere because I couldn't face seeing them, alone and unpicked, on the table at the end fo the night. Thanks Cap'n!
Thanks Twang
I too fear that fate. Well, since I'm combining Food and Heaven on the same CD, I'll make 10. No, 5. 7. Oh, I dunno.
Look, Massive, would you please just take one anyway? You could always 'accidentally' leave it on a railway platform bench on the way home.
Don't worry gents
I take home any surplus CDs at the end of the night, grind them up and make them into a delicious cake.
In that case
With the playlist I've made, your cake will taste, at once, bittersweet, exotic, exalted, eggy, sausagey, popcorny, peppery, orangey and applely, and ultimately quite sweet.
Buttery biscuit
base?
I'm trying to decode your playlist from those clues.
I'm not doing well. In fact, the only song I'd guess with any confidence is Hot Butter's "Popcorn", which is pretty much the most erotic song ever committed to tape.
One down
Twenty to go :)
The Crucial Three
Do you by any chance have anything from
The Teardrop Explodes
Wah! (in whichever incarnation - Heat, Shambeko Say, Mighty or simply Wah!)
Echo & The Bunnymen?
Digits crossed.
You
got Echo from Rockpalast (German TV) 1983? Ripped that from a Sky Arts rebroadcast earlier this year. I can certainly ask around for the others
Rockpalast
sounds good. Thank you.
Don't go to any bother about the others if you don't have them. I've no idea how much there was. There was a 1/2 hour or so Teardrop gig just before the final split. I don't even recall which channel, never mind the programme title.
No probs
will run you off a copy. Think its about 80-90 mins
Knowing full well
that you have already prepared a stack of kit for me it would be selfish, greedy and plainly infuriating for me to take advantage of you again.
So. Please, if you have it, I'd love a copy of 'Who Shot That Bird on Your Windowsill'DVD by The Black Crowes.
Thank you kindly.
Thats out officially
you cheeky sod! Don't know if it will copy. I can do you some Crowes in its stead if not. Got some nice early 90's bits
Some nice early '90's Crowes
would be splendido and quite sufficient
I always thought that was a boot! But you're right - it isn't
Will put the money in their coffers and purchase forthwith.
I only found out recently
they'd put it out on DVd when I unearthed my old VHS copy
I'm still aiming to be there
I will try
Happen to be in the smoke that night ...
Just seen this!
Excellent! Dai, we'll be glad to welcome you.
I'll run a couple of
'Let It Be's up anyway. Might even do a couple of "Winter oF Discontent" sets with extree footage.
http://www.jpgr.co.uk/dvd_ppdvd013.html
Mmmm
Yes please (W of D)!
Count me in
I'll be there.
I have already done my CD, which is themed and I think for some people it wouldn't be a stretch to call it Heaven.
Carl
If I make it...
... my cd shall be "Putting the Mental Into Instrumental" as it is a title which has just occurred to me and I like instrumentals.
I may be doing 2 CDs
the Food n Heaven one and just another Cd of rare and unusual stuff I like. Including a rocking R&B tune from a 70'\80's comedian
I'm in
Not sure how Leedsboy and I arrived at Food and Heaven as cd theme's but what the hey, WTFN.
You could concatenate the whole thing and do a Food Heaven one. In my case that would be Eddie and The Hot Rod's 'Fish and Chips' copied 17 times.
I'll be there
Looking forward to it.
I shall be there
Should be an early start from me so see you there.
Sorry, Can't Make it.
But I will be sending The Levellers in my stead.
In person.
Mwah-ha-ha-HAAAA!
Afraid I'm crying off
as we'll be heading down the M3 for our god-daughter's 3rd birthday party.
Thanks as always for organising and I should be at the next one.
Sadly, can't make it.
Mrs L's grandmother died last Saturday and the funeral is next Friday so my services are required.
I shall pass on the pork pie recipe to anyone who's feeling brave.
Sorry to hear that, Lenny
Hopefully see you at the next one. Still living in a kosher home (grrr) so I can't pick up the pork pie baton, sadly. (When I move, I shall be throwing a pork party. I will bathe in ham. It'll be great)
One Day
Can't make this one, but must try one next year, as I have a few days leave left before the new leave year begins in April. (If I'm still there). Hopefully if there's another massive do before Spring, I'll book in advance, and try to get down with Johnny The Fox.
That's be great
Next one is Jan 6th. And then first friday in March. Hopefully see you at one of them.
I hope you all have a bloody marvellous time.
I am still recovering from the shock of finding out that you are all real people. I hope to make it down to another one early in 2012. I will be there with you in spirit.
Oh boo
Was hoping to talk home recording with you. Where are you? Fancy a jam? PM me.
Yes. Me too.
I will PM my 'secret location' forthwith!
I'm afraid I can't make this one
I will be in Winchester and making a lot of noise.
I'll Be There
Better start the CD compiling, I s'pose.
YES!
Missed the last one. I think this is probably why Hannah put me at the top of her list. Because she knows how desperately I'm looking forward to this.
Mine's a pint.
Hopefully...
I should be able to make this one - my first in London. Is there a confirmed date for the TVM in December?
Erm, not yet
*runs to looks at the poll for first time since I made it*
Friday 16th December by the looks of it
Anyone who needs to vote
http://www.doodle.com/ngn4b6dgczkiev6p
Hooray!
Malc, it'll be lovely to meet you. In return, I'm going to try and get to my first TVM, although I might be moving house that weekend, so I'll have to play it by ear.
I'm hoping to gatecrash the TVM
I'll bring a bottle
Splendid!
If I'm not moving house that weekend, any chance I could cadge a lift?
No Problem
Cadge away
Brill!
Thanks muchly. Extra cake for you!
If everything goes according to plan I'll be back
from 2 days of death by PowerPoint in Amsterdam just in time. Possibly with a huge attack of the munchies (shame there won't be any pork pie).
And even better, the TVM will (almost) coincide with my birthday. I might even buy everyone a drink.
Looking good
Hope to make this one. Missed out last time for some reason that escapes me.
Like the theme cd idea. Does that mean all tracks played on the night via the juke box should fit into the Food and Heaven genre? That would focus the mind somewhat.
Hope to make it this time
though I'll know more nearer the time.
No CDs from me this time as I don't have time to compile one in time, sadly.
Still, the last one should be the gift that keeps on giving. Everyone else's are still ringing in my ears.
Yes!
I will be there.
Without a doubt
I'll be there.
Twangothan, that Acoustic Maestros cd was my tippety toppety favourite cd from the last mingle, beating off stiff competition from, well, everyone... It actually got an airing in Madrid on Monday, where it was LOVED by all my muso mates in the room; five copies were made soon thereafter.
Anyroad, DFB, it's getting to the stage where you must hold me in pitiful contempt as I panhandle in front of you yet again, but that get back/winter of discontent thing has me chomping at the bit, like some overweight horse shot through with a baseball bat-sized syringe filled with ephedrine.... think of me as you toil in your forge, won't you?
Will miss a lot of faces, looking forward to seeing others again..
Cheers Vorgongod
Delighted you like it. I have to say I'm not a big compilation guy but I knocked up the first version and it worked so well that I refined it to sort of encompass lots of styles. Oh to be able to play like that!
I'll be there
It might not be til later, depending on whether I'm on putting the bairn to bed duty. Really touched by your appreciation of the CD, Twang, I'll see if I can match it this time. I will make at least a small effort to include a few tunes on the food/heaven theme.
Hoorah!
Delighted so many of you can make it.
Just to say - this time, please please feel free to help yourself to the book / DVD table. Everyone's homemade CDs went, but we had quite a lot of books and dvds left over... people did seem a bit shy of helping themselves to them. Go on, get stuck in!
I'm going to spend the whole night thrusting
CDs into Minglers' arms whether they like it or not, like a reverse-mugger.
Heh.
That's pretty much how I operate with my cakes. Resistance is futile.
I just went round
forcing people to take stuff whether they liked it or not!
I shall not be bringing any mammoth box sets this time just some books and the odd cd. I'll do a couple of extra of the boots I'm running up for people but it'll be strictly first come first served so if you particularly want summat just ask and I'll reserve things for you.
And no problem Mr VG. Copy reserved
Bollocks
Cant come to next weeks bash and I am on holiday for the January one which is a right bugger. Definitely the March one though. Anyone wanting to send me cd's not snaffled up by you lot please feel free to do so!!
Have fun.
Oh well at least I got my Costello tickets today - 3rd row!!
By the way
DFB do you have anything on this years Eels UK tour?
A nice pro shot DVD from Pukkelpop Festival
and on CD too. Plus my recording of the Somerset House gig
6th row right hand side aisle for Costello Brum gig BTW. My favourite spot. See you in May!
Pork Pies
I'll go anywhere for a pork pie.
Yet again, The Man conspires against me
I've had it in my calendar for ages, but my employers (quite unreasonably in my opinion) expect me to be working at a client site some way away from all the festivities. Ho hum, maybe next time
Last mingle's CDs
have been soundtracking car journeys, usually accompanied by cries of "What the hell's THIS?" from the passenger seat. I've even - this is a bit sad - compiled a compilation CD of highlights from the compilations. Maybe I should bring that.
If we're picking favourites, Ganglesprocket's disco collection had people dancing in the garden at midnight on the last hot day of the year, so I guess that wins for me.
Not sure if I can come yet... I'm far too disorganised to make decisions like this a whole week ahead.
By the way, anyone going to Wilco at the Roundhouse tomorrow?
Saturday's Wilco gig at the Roundhouse for me
Really looking forward to seeing Wilco again - and Jonathan Wilson.
Hope to make it
Will have time to burn a CD or 12 but not a Pork Pie, sadly. Though *all* the bosses are off Friday so I may be able to make early doors.
I also have the Massive's copy of Astral Weeks, to which anyone is welcome
First timer hoping to make it
Long time lurker(and very occasional poster) hoping to make it along on Friday week.
Musically, a bit stuck(although gloriously so) in the early to mid seventies,( Free, Fairport, Audience(House on the hill especially ...I am listening to it right now),Mott The Hoople etc)
It would be great to put a few faces to names.
I may have a go at a compilation as its got to be better than any cake effort I could make(as it would only involve breakfast cereal and melted chocolate).
Splendid!
Looking forward to meeting you! And, hey, cornflake cakes are thoroughly delicious, there's no shame there.
Musical friends
It sounds like you'll fit right in.
Hope to see you there.
Bloody hell
Fairport? Free? Mott? Cereal in chocolate? You are me! Come on down! Looking forward to discussing Back Street Crawler!
Looking forward to meeting you
Although forgive me if I over-react to your use of the words 'Free' and 'Cake'
I must never see those words together. Not after the last time. *fingers dog-eared copy of injunction from M&S Simply Food*
Theme
Food & Heaven, eh..
Well breakfast is my favourite meal. I love a good old fryup. Specifically the Full English/Scottish varieties, though a proper Ulster Fry sounds right up my street too.
I shall create a breakfast CD. Perhaps a Weird Food collection as well, for backup.
yep
I'll be there for a pint or six.
Still hoping to make it
Travelling back from Blackpool during the day but fingers crossed. Hoping to meet a few people who couldn't make the last one as well as sample some cake.
ooo
would it be OK if I come along? I only pop in now and again but it would be nice to put faces to names and say hello
Of course
A warm welcome guaranteed! See you then.
As an avid blog follower
but rare poster I've been to several of these gatherings, so I can heartily recommend just turning up and indulging in the friendly banter. The food is to behold and the care and thought enlisted in the various goodies made free for indulgence awaken the realisation that you really should have brought a larger bag.
As Andrew Harrison exclaimed at the last one when faced with a table of nosh, books and CDs, "bloody hell, it's like a bring and buy sale".
Come and enjoy.
It's more than ok!
Looking forward to meeting you!
two mingles in a month?
I hope to be there, as I am coming to London. That would be some kind of record, following on from the mini-mingle with Austin, Fraser et al in Auckland. Not sure what I'll be able to knock up CD-wise, but I'll do my best.
DFB! If I can make a request. Do you have anything of Todd Rundgren's 'Wizard A True Star' show? Failing that, I'd welcome a copy of the Bowie 50th Birthday show. Ta muchly.
Afraid not
Was hoping to make this one and utilise the pink pass I was given for the last one.
Sadly, Mrs Toro isn't well at the moment and will be having an op soon, so I'm not happy about leaving her alone while I have a night of music, beer and cake in that there London.
Jan is in the diary, subject to no further domestic calamity.
So sorry to hear that
My best wishes are with you both. Hope to see you in Jan, fingers crossed. xxxx
Best wishes
Best wishes to Mrs ETCG.
Thanks for that Leeds
Much appreciated.
I do like a good mingle
Count me in.
Ok all stuff asked for
has been done and dusted.
Please come up to me at the Mingle and ask for your stuff.
You may have to remind me who the hell you are and what you want.
But unlike Led Zep guitarists I will not tell you to fuck off.
I've done a couple of spares of things which are available in a grubby free-for-all from the 'bring and buy sale' table.
And a new choccie treat I have been working on. Nyum, nyum nyum!
Very sad I won't be able to make it - again
I'm sure everyone's utterly devastated.
Oh well, see you at the next one I hope.
I hope so too
Thoroughly enjoyed the CD you brought to the Mingle in June
Thanks Beez!
That's good to hear.
Even if I could have made it, I wouldn't have been able to do a CD in time for this mingle, so looking forward to the next one.
A request
Can we get plenty of warning for the CD theme (if any) agreed for the January mingle, so the less organised amongst us have plenty of time to get our act together?
If not, I'll prepare a selection of Javanese Gamelan.
I'd love to come. I love London pubs me...
Fantastic beer too. Although brewing friends of mine tell me the previously much admired (by me) Fullers are a shower of absolute b'stards. So I'll be giving them a wide berth from now on.
Had a very enjoyable couple of pints of a beer from Kent last time I was "dahn the smoke" (ahem). Think it was called Sheperds somethingorother.
Anyway, I digress. A very good night to all involved.
Shepherd Neame?
It was indeed Bob
In a charmling little hostelry in Bloomsbury. Lovely...

Edinburgh
Any chance of holding one of these in Edinburgh? Feeling envious.
Go on, take the plunge and arrange your own!
There are Word Mingles springing up all over the place; from the first one in London a few years ago, there's now mingles in the midlands, the north west... Even New Zealand! As for Scotland, I *think* the mingles happen in Glasgow only, but I could be wrong. But why not stick a post on the board and see if there are any other readers near Edinburgh who fancy a drink? If you need more help, advice our encouragement, please DM me. I promise you, arranging the London mingles is a pleasure, I've met so many wonderful people. and eaten so much pork pie.
Scottish mingles??
Anyone up for a mingle in Glesga or Embra? Can not do Fri or Sat.
Sorry, I should have been clearer
I meant a brand new thread (go to the top of this page - at the right, just under the cover of this month's magazine, click "create content" and make a new blog entry).
The trouble with posting your message *within* this one its that it's got a London only title, so anyone outside London is likely to skip over the message.
Alternatively, search for El Hombre Malo or James Blast within this board, and drop them a DM about a drink, they've arranged previous Scottish socials. Good luck!
.
Any cake requests?
Of or did I promise someone I'd make a particular cake for friday? Genuinely can't remember)
Anyway. Don't be shy, speak up!
My guilty secret delight
Is a large slice of Battenburg. Twas very popular in Dagenham in the 1970's. Still can't resist a slice and I've been known to push small children out of the way at birthday parties.
I guess there are worse habits!
Whatever you decide, it will be great!
Last minute (sort of)
...change of mind. I'll be there. No CDs, though. No time to do any, I'm afraid.
HURRAH!
splendid x
Hate to pull out at the last minute (fnarr)
but it pleases me not one jot to announce that that is indeed what I'm gonna have to do. An attic full of shoes worth of work has fallen on me this week (including Saturday) so it's just not physically possible...
Makes me relish Jan 6 all the more as I'll be thinking of you all with envy on Friday....
Make me a +1 too!
Make me a +1 too!
I've just realised I can't do 6th Jan either. Arsecakes.
Arsecakes?
Hannah, not to be fussy, but I'd prefer carrot or coffee and walnut.
CHOCOLATE!
chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!!!!!
Sorry, did I type that out loud?
As a tiny thank you for the various thoughtful CDs and DVDs
you've made me in the past, I will be delighted to make you a chocolate cake. Although you might have to share it with everyone else at the Mingle.
(Jo, I've already promised a carrot cake for the NW Mingle!)
.
*lets out a Homer Simpson alike* Awwwwwwwwwwww!
Damn!
I wanted to get a request for cheesecake in, but I guess it's too late. Is it.... (winsome smile)
I'm making some
chocolate fudge brownies if that's any help
I've already started baking, sorry Twang
I have done cheesecake before at Mingles, and it's always gone down well (and I seem to remember it's Bob and Stick's favourite too) so I'll do a cheesecake in January. Remind me though!! x
Cheesecake
I once had one made by a friend of mine which used choc chip cookies to make the base. Unbelievable.
I did one of those Mingle before last...
a chocolate lime cheesecake (made with a choc chip cookie base)
(or maybe it was the Mingle before that, I'm not sure)
*checks own 'Hannah's Cake' spreadsheet*
It was the one in June.
I had my piece at 19:02.
What!!!?
I was actually at that one. How on earth did I miss the cheesecake?
Cheesecake, gobble gobble cheesecake
I will be supplying that.
A turkey cheesecake? Weird.
Turkey cheesecake
with chestnut stuffing, smothered in cranberry sauce.
Are you seriously telling me, you've never tasted that?
Afraid to say...
...I won't make it. The FPO's elderly aunt needs us to take her to the dentist on Friday - so that she can get new teeth at the age of 90. Sadly, caring must take precedence over carousing. Hopefully, I will make it in January.
Me too
I will be in da area this weekend, so aim to see y'all and have a pint and a blether.
However, while I was aiming to rustle up some platters up on matters celestial and nosh, my CD writer has decided to expire in mid-burn, so it could be an even more limited edition than usual. Oh well.
CD's are done
Including the mighty "Fish and Chips" by Denim.
No cake this time though - sorry. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
If anyone is wondering...
... whether to go for the first time, my advice is YES!
I *will* make another Mingle sometime (January deffo out for me - busiest time of year at work).
Oddly enough, I am in London (well, Heathrow) tomorrow - but flying back to Newcastle when you all start to meet up.
Enjoy yourselves!
Looking forward to
meeting everyone. I shall be bringing banana cake ..
I forgot to mention...
...I'll be doing another whip-round for the Macmillan Nurses (it's the landlord's favourite charity, because of the care they gave his mum, so he instead of charging for room hire, he asks for donations instead) so anything you can give will be hugely appreciated.
Also, not entirely sure if I'll do a singalong tomorrow as Vorgongod won't be there to lead it (I'll miss you, fella). Thoughts? (and song requests if anyone else wants to lead a singalong?)
Looking forward to seeing you all xxx
Something
by Jimmy Page...........
So stuff I have reserved for peeps
Carl Parker - Echo & TB Rockpalast 1983 DVD
Beezer - stack of leftover from last mingle he failed to show at PLUS Crowes DVD
Nick Duvet - the Dame's 50th Birthday DVD
Dai - Fab's Winter Of Discontent DVD
See youy all tomorrow
Star man!
Thanks friend. See you tomorrow.
I'll take a Crowes DVD
if you are still able
Thanks DFB
I've got a copy of ...until the freeze for you
And another for fortuneight should he want one
Otherwise it goes on the table with the rest.
Absolutely!
Cheers.
Rather than inflict my dodgy taste in music
on you, I'm bringing a few CD's & DVD's that may (or may not) prove of interest, including
Steely Dan - Live at The Record Plant 1974
Led Zep - Shepperton Rehearsals Dec 2007
Ian Dury - On My Life documentary
SAHB - Live in NYC 1974 (DVD)
plus anything else I find time to burn today. Should any of the above be of interest and you don't find one, just let me know.
I've also got discs for Beezer, Retro, Rocker and Twang (mostly not asked for, but I'm going to make you have them anyway). I say this only because once I've had a couple of pints I'll forget all about them...
See you later!
Ah yes
I think you asked me on Twitter. Cool, will keep a copy in me bag (missis)
I was gonna burn some of the Zep 2007 rehearsals but didn't have time. Is it the versh with unedited No Quarter and MMH?
It sounds unedited to my cloth ears
No Quarter clocks in at 9.30, and MMH at 4.49
I'll burn you a set and if it turns out they are just dups you could bin or recycle.
Yeah
an earlier version that was circulating they both cut off within a minute or so.
Triff
Ta F8, you don't have a SAHB one for me by any chance do you?
I do now
Ta
Mate
Last minute cancellation
Due to a vicious stomach bug, i shall be mostly staying at home tonight.
I'm going to miss you chaps, it seems weird not going.
Have fun and see some of you at the TVM in December or in London in January.
