Chuckling my way through The Poke's Greatest Album Covers Ever I came across this one. I mean, what?

Both, I think.

See the hand on the body of the guitar? That's no lady.

Cerys Matthews has hands like that....

Obviously

It's from next week's podcast when Mark and David discuss the remake of Some Like It Hot and get into character for the day. I can't wait to see Kate Mossman as Marilyn Monroe.

Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam

0
Melville | 15 November 2011 - 3:49pm

The word 'og' on the album's cover means 'and'

You'd guessed that? Oh.

Take a look at The Faith Tones "Jesus Use Me"...

... (I think it's number 12). I'd like to know why a young Bernard Cribbins is wearing a wig & glasses.

I'm stuck on #8.

If you can pry your eyes away from the picture

it has some fantastic song titles as well!
An odd mixture of smut and innocense that makes you suspect some hidden innuendo in titles like "Granny, don't bring me a goose for Christmas" (may not be remembered correctly, but something like that).
Does goose mean something else that I was never tought in the Swedish educational system ?

We bring advanced technologies puny Earthlings...

...resistance is futile. We have cloned the Proclaimers and all your offspring will look like this.

Oddly enough

I've got one of those Q or Mojo '100 Best Album Covers" books with Number 95 (the bears) in it.

God there are some rotters there though - I cowered in wincing recognition of the Whitenake one
