Oh dear
I have my Glasto ticket and already I'm missing Macca and They Might Be Giants who hit London that weekend. I hope EC doesn't make it three gigs I might rather be at.
Maybe though Elvis and the Sugarcanes will hit one of the Glasto tents, then I'll be a happy dude.
First thing I thought...
...was that there was a big, Glasto-shaped hole in that itinerary...
Here's hoping...
Given his
comments about his last Glastonbury experience, you may be hoping for a long time. Still, at least he has apparently forgiven the nation for its previous disrespect:

There's a John Cooper Clarke lyric that springs to mind for some reason...
I didn't know
about the TMBG date. And I'm on their soddin mailing list.
Still got me a ticket in the slips so thats groovy, ta for the heads up. And yes, I'm going to Macca too.
Wouldn't surprise me if Costello does Glasto (although I'm hoping he'll supposrt Macca at Hyde Park and duet with him on So Like Candy or Veronica.)
Cough Choke
Oxford looks favourite for me but it's £40 and it looks horribly as if sitting is the only option! I don't think I've ever paid that much for a gig before and I'd rather stand.
Birmingham Costello
tickets will be bought at 10am friday. Looking at the website I thought it was a mistake not listing The Sugarcanes as it is a Sugarcanes tour. It's a bit of a bugger as it means I will have to get tickets elsewhere for a Sugarcanes gig.
That's mighty neighbourly of you...
...dog faced boy.
I am now the proud owner of two tickets in the stalls at the
Liverpool Philharmonic.
I thank you.
