Get involved people, late contender for album of the year.

He's not wrong.

It's got me air drumming like a loon!

The whole album is superb

"Gold On The Ceiling" is another corker

Glad to hear it!

I downloaded it this morning on the back of Friday's 5-star review in the Guardian. ("They sound like a band who think they've made the year's best rock'n'roll album, probably because that's exactly what they've done.") Can't wait to hear it later.

Don't know if you've seen them live

But I definitely recommend it, absolutely superb.

Cool.

Downloading that now. Very nice. I really like Dan Auerbach's voice, but in the past I've liked the Black Keys more in theory than in practice. "Brothers" was good, but not great, and lacked a bit of punch and immediacy. This sounds like just the ticket.

Thanks!

Think you'll like it

It's a return to the likes of "The Big Come Up" and "Attack & Release"

Wow..

... what a great track!

Downloaded the album today on the strength of that song.

It's fine, but I can't say I'm vastly whelmed. Well played, good tunes, but for me the elusive something isn't quite there.

Each to their own

I suppose

Had another couple of listens today.

It's good. Better than it struck me yesterday.

It's a real "grower"

Make no mistake
