Editing

RobertC's picture

Fraser, is there way of editing a comment re. typos etc. without it effecting the overall thread i.e. giving the impression that a new entry has been posted. I am a bit sausage fingered when it comes to the keyboard and quite often spot errors after the event and would like to be able correct them without disturbing the ebb and flow.

Editing comments

You can edit any comment you've made, but not if someone else has subsequently commented on that comment. This keeps things on the straight and narrow.

Thanks

So I'll try and be more accurate if I can. I never spot anybody else's mistakes and they don't matter anyway, although I always feel compelled to correct my own. I just don't like giving the impression that a new comment has been posted by updating.
