Last week I posted a clip of a track by Gotye called Somebody That I Used To Know which I rather enjoyed discovering on the radio.
Lo and behold here's a cover version involving 4 guys, 1 girl and 1 guitar:
The act is called Walk Off The Earth.

As ever, I'm late to the party,
but this track has just gone straight in at number one in my personal consciousness, er, charts.
So before leaping in and starting a thread (as if!), I did the decent thing and searched for other threads containing the intriguingly named 'Gotye' (a la Irvive Welsh perhaps, as in 'Got ye, ya wee radge!'), and found this. As if the original video wasn't remarkable enough, the Walk Off The Earth cover is also fantastic.
Yes, Peter Gabriel is clearly a major influence...;-)
