Dylan & Knopfler duet on Forever Young
The Dylan/Knopfler Euro jaunt wrapped up in Hammersmith on Monday night. For the last few weeks Knopfler had been playing on the first few songs of Dylan's set each night, but on the last night he came back out for the final song of the tour. Nice touch at 3:58 when Knopfler sings "may your song always be sung" and gestures at Dylan. It's ragged and rough and not at all bad. Check out the smiles on Donnie Herron and Tony Garnier's faces as well.

Knopfler's keyboard player, Guy Fletcher, kept a really interesting, if sometimes very trainspottery blog about the tour. Lots of insight into touring and all the banjo playing that went on backstage between the two bands all over Europe: http://guyfletcher.co.uk/index.php/diary/MK_2011_Dylan_Tour_Diary_
