Dylan does Connery

Mark Ellen's picture

More of this, I'm saying. It's from a recent edition of Bob Dylan's Theme-Time Radio Hour. Thirty seconds into this one minute clip about the origins of the word 'posh' he throws in an impersonation - "as Sean Connery would say,'on the shady shide of the ship'".

I wonder if he can impersonate...

Bob Dylan in 1966? If so, perhaps he could be kind enough to do it the next time I see him live.

Only joking, Bob!

How could someone...

not love Bob Dylan after listening to that?!

He's so great.

At least...

We now know why they called in Sean Penn to do the Chronicles audiobook. Not -- ahem -- a great reader-outer, the Zimster, is he?

This is the first I've heard of this already-legendary radio show. Someone please tell me it's not all like this.

Sounds like...

...T-Bag from "Prison Break".
(Not the Sean Connery impression, the rest of it)

Unbelievably

he did it again this week, so Mark Ellen's request for "more of this" obviously didn't fall on deaf ears. On top of which, he finished with Wreckless Eric's Whole Wide World. Does he listen to the Word Podcast? (a complete coincidence due to the time frame, but still...)
