Double Album Name Fantasy
Posted by David Wright on 25 November 2009 - 11:15am.
I think we’ve done this before with names of songs,so this isn’t very original, but what two album names go well together to create a new double album name?
For example, albums by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Eagles come together to form:
Hotel Califonication.
Any others?

Er...
If a certain New York based new wave band recorded a tribute to Bob Dylan's 1966 album, they could call it Blonde On Blondie.
Debbie Does Dylan
'Blondie On Blonde'. Obviously.
I think I prefer
'Debbie Does Dylan'. Apparently Leonard Cohen used to refer to Jennifer Warnes' album of his songs as 'Jenny Sings Lenny'.
I rejected
Dylan & John Coltrane's ... 'Slow Blue 'Trane Coming'
Dylan & Al Kooper's ... 'Blood, Sweat & Tears On The Tracks' and
Dylan & Lennon's ... 'Time Out of Mind Games'
Radiohead & Was (Not Was)

Dr. Feelgood's Serge Gainsbourg tribute album

White Stripes meet The Damned
for 'Elephantasmagoria'.
No room here to mention the White Stripes/Eminem single collaboration 'Get Behind Me, Stan', I'm afraid, or indeed the forthcoming Yes gangster movie soundtrack 'Relayer Cake', but we do have high hopes for the new wave/nu folk crossover album 'Q:Are We Not Men? A:We Are Devon Sproule!'.
