Domain name anomalies

tkdmart's picture

I discovered earlier that www.paulsimon.co.uk is a curtain and bedding store.

Do you know of any? (anomalies... not bedding stores)

Yep

Drove past one about half an hour ago on the way home from Sainsburys.

Until recently

http://www.powergenitalia.com/ was the site for an Italian utility company. Currently "under construction". Hmmm.

Never again. There are over 50 ways to leave. I got hopelessly lost looking for the car.

If you're following the US primaries

Google search for Santorum - as in
Rick Santorum (Republican pres hopeful, if you don't know).

find the 3rd entry and read on - you may not want to try this with someone looking over your sholder.

A fascinating story

on whether Google should get involved or not. A long history is detailed here:

Did anyone see this?

According to Rick, the NHS destroyed the British Empire.

Yeah, I saw it.

I tweeted about it yesterday. It's genuinely astonishing.

Still, I don't worry about Santorum (capital S! Capital S!). Either he's a no-hoper for the nomination, which is more than likely, or he gets the nomination and hands Obama a nailed-on victory. He's much too extreme to win the presidency. Makes GWB look like Michael Foot.

Mike Scott

was not happy about this. Really - He's mentioned it from the stage a couple of times at least.
