Are We

the snoud of silence

Rev. 2.0 was The Strawbs ~ Grave New World, album of course.
I've fecked to allsorts since the first silent time, most memorable was Closer by NIN and I may get arrested for what I did to a 47 year old woman as it played. It seemed appropriate and she was happy enough.
I was too.

Result!

I thought you were going to say

Nik Kershaw

Captain Underpants | 13 December 2009 - 10:20am

nah

it was much more likely to have been a 47 year old woman

Steely Dan for me.

A C90.

Gaucho on one side.
Aja on the other.

I wish the performance had been up to that of the soundtrack.

Mind you, I did manage to turn the tape over.

Read into that what you will.

Turn the tape over...

Cellar Bar, Lurgan circa 1989

Cellar 'indie' disco in Lurgan, out back. Might have been Happy Mondays or Stone Roses or The Pixies but more probably The Cure. Not rewarding for anyone concerned - particularly the artist themselves.

Psychic TV

Ov Power. It keeps a forceful, if somewhat pedestrian, beat.

We did an a cappella version of 'O Superman'...

uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh.

Question for Mr Drayton

So, Chant Of The Ever Circling Skeletal Family: romantic enough for ya?

Could have been worse, I suppose. Please Mr Gravedigger wouldn't be likely to induce a sex wee in too many guys...

17 Seconds

A certain grim irony, there, as I recall

(Fortunately she had Faith, and after that it was Pornography)

Nope...

Isn't that awful.I genuinely can't recall the first. There was so much mucking around that it didn't mean that much, until I fell head over heels over Niagara Falls.
As Falls Niagara, So Falls Niagara Falls...

No access to music when I finally got lucky...

... as it was one of those romantic drunken alfresco freezing cold encounters.

There may even have been bins nearby...

I was on acid at the time

Not the best of times - nor trips. God knows what music was playing; it was 1985, so our circle were heavily into Bowie at the time, it was likely to have been him. But I really have no idea.

Note back in time to my 16 year old self: Don't even think about having sex whilst on acid. God and definitely not your first time...
