As I'm in a New York state of mind at the moment, I stumbled across this half-forgotten gem from the legendary Dion, featuring Lou Reed and Paul Simon. Great tune from the rather good Yo Frankie album.
Always thought Dion & the Belmonts made some of the tightest rock'n'roll records, none more so than this. Wonderful stuff.

I imagine Mark Knopfler's
lawyers may have got a bit excited on hearing that. The verse sounds exactly like Lady Writer, including the guitar fills.
