Didn't see that one coming

In the immortal words of Ron Nasty and Dirk McQuickly, I'm shocked. And stunned.

Why not?

If she can keep her skanky tangle headed self out of the tabloids and the gutter and the pub and the crackhouse she is well capable of singing a Bond theme.
They let Duran Duran do one.

Sarcasm's difficult on the internet, innit?

Sorry. I meant to say that she's the obvious choice.

Huh

I haven't submitted MY candidate tune yet. Amy who?

Vulpes Vulpes | 28 April 2008 - 6:24pm

"Quantum Of Solace"?!?

Imagine trying to write a song called that.
Still if anyone can, Amy can. She's perfect for a Bond theme. The best ones are Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever. You can imagine Amy doing something along those lines.
A Hard Day's Night was going to be called Eight Arms To Hold You until it dawned on those involved how hard that was going to be to turn into a theme song.

Maybe they should adapt...

...Run D.M.C.'s - Christmas in Hollis.

I like to think...

...that Eon Productions got their idea from this very parish.

She could do a rewrite of the John Prine song

Christmas in prison

Steve Turner | 28 April 2008 - 7:20pm

I can see the album title

"Winehouse In The Jailhouse"

The band of choice for the new bond movie titles has to be...

Muse...surely? Especially with the title of The Quantum of Solace - it's the next title in the book after The Origin of Symmetry.

They would do a magnificent job
