Did Mrs Landingham die in vain?

renkadima's picture

I've checked and double checked, but nowhere on page 28 of the new edition do the names 'Josh' or 'Donna' appear.

Does The Word editorial staff not appreciate that these two selfless public servants had to keep their raging hormones in check for eight years before they could finally boink each other's brains out?

A shameful omission.

Sad thing is

I can identify every single scene on that video.

The boxed sets (best viewed with the subtitles on so you don't miss a single quip) are my comfort viewing.

Hard day at work, another Hitler documentary on the Murdoch box downstairs? I'm straight to bed with the West Wing (no, not all of them...), wielding the remote "like a ninja with a Prada clutch".

Indeed so

'Noel' from season 2 is as fine a piece of television as you'll ever see.

Also

the greatest pre-title sequence ever - "You're not dealing with the mail boy either, Josh." Fantastic writing.

I am wiping away a bit of a tear watching that video. Great stuff all the way, but ... had Aaron Sorkin still been involved with the show until the end, not sure there would have been quite as much 'consummation'. Not sure about The Wire rivalry - is it not ok just to love both?!

The Wire..

Was very good but it was ridiculously over praised.

Love the West Wing

Greatest TV show ever.

Now *that* was a good unconsumated love affair....

Mrs Landrigham and Jed Bartlett.
If I could go back in a time machine it would be to the point where my friend Mr. Wendell lent me the first West Wing series on DVD. I'll never get that moment back.
