Sounds very good to me, although I am slightly disappointed that they seem to have put the proggier ambitions, evident on Hazards, to one side.

First impressions are good. Smaller scale and more intimate than The Hazards Of Love (well it couldn't be anything else, really). Nice vocals from Gillian Welch, too.
Genuinely excited about hearing some of these songs live in London in March.
I liked it...
...certainly lower-key that the last couple, but songs sounded really good.
A welcome diversion from the fact that I cannot rip CDs into iTunes anymore as it thinks all my audio CDs are blank. I've spent a very frustrating hour trying to work out why. Thank the Lord that I could listen to the Decemberists to distract me.
