Go to hell? I think I'm

Go to hell? I think I'm already there. Christ, it goes on a bit doesn't it?

I rather liked that.

Great voice, apart from all the cleverness.

Great album too

David hepworth posted this a few months back and I bought the cd Songs for the road on the strength of this yOUTUBE CLIP. the track is more condensed on the cd and without the multi tracking. great cd and there is a fine version of There is light that never goes out on there too.

Invisible

to radio, TV, music press and record companies, but he gets half a million YouTube hits. Explain that.

After slogging around The States last year, Ford came here for two shows at Christmas and gave the proceeds - £10,000 - to charity. Meanwhile the excellent Songs For The Road album retails at £1 in Fopp.

Why is he more known in the USA?

- he is British. I am all for a bargain but £1.00 seriously undermines this work.

Last time I saw someone do this...

... it was Phil Keaggy - you may not have heard of him.

This time it is one man, one guitar, one take...

£2 in Fopp Now

I was browsing in the Edinburgh branch the other day and spotted it. I bought it for the work colleague who was in there browsing with me. At that price, it would be worth buying a load of copies and distributing them to friends - we can thus do our bit to encourage Mr Ford to continue his career in music.
