Danny Baker

"Tuned in" as they say to Dan on Radio London the other day and his show had been finished early and replaced by those two who do a news programme (and have me making haste to Peter Allen on Radio 5). Since then he hasn't been on. Gary Crowley has been attempting to fill his boots, poor chap.
Is Danny OK? Has he flounced again? Only asking because he‘s one of the staunchest stalwarts against the tide of stupidity running rampage through modern life (and particularly its media).
Don't expect to hear anything from the BBC, but does anyone know what's "occuring"?

It seems that his father

It seems that his father passed away. Danny is a radio genius and I'm sure all here would wish him and his family every sympathy.

Very sorry to hear the bad news.

Nothing to say except Danny has my sympathy.

Return of the Podcast

He mentioned today that the podcast will return under new management. I think he meant the all day breakfast one, but hopefully it'll also be the return of Baker and Kelly.
