Dad's Day
Posted by TedLoaf on 17 June 2011 - 10:23am.
Don't you just hate generic card buying days.............?
In honour of fathers day I'll buy myself a pint and consider how I can be a bit better. My old man passed away 32 years ago. Make the most of yours, kids and dads, make the most of your kids. They'll miss you when you're gone.

This one
would bring a tear to a glass eye.
I've posted it before, but it fits here well, I feel.
Thanks for giving me the excuse
to post this again. I'm picking my boy up from university on Sunday and will give more than a minutes thought to my old man who isn't around to see how well he's doing.
Justin Currie "Nothing Rhymed"
30 years
since my Dad passed and I'll be the age he was this time next year. Dad was a Derry man and proud of it, so this seems appropriate. Written by Davy Spillane for his late Da, I love this.
