Cornbury

I'm going. Are you?

Crowded House
Nick Lowe
Toots and the Maytals
KT Tunstall
Beverley Knight
Half Man Half Biscuit
10cc
Eric Bibb

and of course The Love Trousers.

Be there or be somewhere else.

Hmm... looks a good line up... just one question...

where's Gilbert?! Mr Retropath would love it!

Patrick Crowther | 15 March 2008 - 10:42am

Les Pantalons D'Amour

and a feast of other tasty treats. I've as good as donned the bib and started tucking in already. I even like Beverley Knight. (Never heard of Eric Bibb though). I'm with Patrick on Gilbert as a worthwhile addition to the slap-up feast. I also think a Fannies course would be the icing on the cake.

Richard Lowe | 15 March 2008 - 12:53pm

With that line up, I just

With that line up, I just might. In fact, I've just booked. Anyone want to help with fashioning a banner which reads "Do Some Old?"

itf | 15 March 2008 - 1:30pm

popping the cherry

have booked for my very first festival - a line up too tempting to resists.

Riccardo Gargiulo | 15 March 2008 - 1:32pm

Too right

Mrs Twang and Twang Junior (really just a slight plink at this stage) looking forward enormously!

Twangothan | 15 March 2008 - 8:53pm

It looks

a bit underwhelming to me. I've been to the last two Cornburys and I don't think this lot compares favourably to Robert Plant, The Waterboys, Blondie, Echo & The Bunnymen etc.

Of course that could all change if Saturday's as yet unannounced headliner turns out to be someone amazing.

Johan | 16 March 2008 - 4:43pm

Neil Young

Just heard that Neil Young will be playing this summer at "Hop Yard Farm" in Kent.

Now if he was Cornbury's Saturday night headliner I'd be going!

Anyone heard of Hop Yard Farm?

Johan | 16 March 2008 - 4:45pm

Looks like unlistenable claptrap to me...

Only kidding, I like Nick Lowe. A little.

Retropath2 | 17 March 2008 - 9:14am

Far From Scarborough?

Where is Cornbury? I'm tempted, not been to a festival for years.
