Confessions

Thomas the Rhymer's picture

This just needed bringing to a wider audience. The mixture of giant ape and tiny dancers. As well as the dreadful song, just check out Mr Askwith's moves.

As David Coleman used to say:

"Quite Remarkable!"

I've got a 10 hour flight coming up. Get that on a permanent loop on the old iphone and the time'll just evaporate!

Seriously though - how do people find this stuff?? Why do they post it on you tube?? And what makes me watch it to the bitter end???

(Pan's People were cute though, weren't they? When given the chance, I mean)

As Beavis and Butthead used to say:

"These effects are not very special."

Confession

I have that 7" single. Thanks Tim for posting the unseen video link. More of the same please.

I think the dancers were Mums & Co.

The Best Dreams

This record was given away free by the Burnley Building Society. Sorry the video is dull as ditchwater but appropriate given Burnley's appearance at Wembley this weekend.

Incidentally, the stonking lyrics for this dittie were penned by a certain Salman Rushdie. Says so on the sleeve.

"The best things begin with B..." Who am I to argue.

Didn't Mr. Rushdie go into

Didn't Mr. Rushdie go into hiding for penning this song and the fatwa was invented as a cover for his more heinous crimes??
