Conan's actual goodbye speech was a masterclass in humility and grace under pressure. Apparently at liberty to say whatever he wanted about the network firing him, he actually took the chance to thank them for hiring him in the first place and giving him the chance to live his dream in hosting The Tonight Show. The speech is a model of class
