Come on You Reds

el toro calvo grande's picture

Probably a forlorn plea to the Massive but here goes anyway.

Has anybody got a couple of tickets for the Arsenal v Wolves game for this coming Saturday that they're unable to use?

Myself and the FPO are travelling down and staying at Heathrow on Saturday, prior to flying out on holiday on Sunday. We were coming into London to see the match, as a part of my birthday present, with tickets provided by a contact of one of the FPO's work colleagues.

Just discovered that the arrangement has fallen through and that the only tickets to be had from agencies are around £200 each. Happy to pay a sensible going rate but that seems a bit steep.

As you can imagine I'm feeling a bit pissed off right now, particularly as I've been nagging her for a fortnight to check if everything was ok.

Anybody got any ideas?

If this sort of touting is verboten then please feel free to summarily delete it and give me a yellow card Fraser....

Unless the match goes to general sale,

which this one hasn't, isn't it the case that you need to swipe a membership card to get in?

I hope you make it. The only match I've been to this season was the 6-2 thrashing of Blackburn, one of the best performances I've ever seen in the flesh.

That's a shame..........

......you won't be able to see the magnificent Kevin Doyle score the winner...........save the dough and watch it in the boozer with a few pints........Up the Wolves.......

Mr Doyle...

... my sources tell me (it was in the paper) is going to be playing alongside Mr. Rooney next season.

Can't see that happening

I know Wolves might splash a bit of cash if we stay up, but I can't see us being interested in Rooney.

Seconded

except my money is on the magnificent "Fanny" Craddock crushing Arsenal's title hopes. Come on me Babbies!!!!

Cheers guys

the irony here is that I live in Dudley, only 20 mins from the Moulinex.

However, as a fan of lower league, under-achieving, youth developing Crewe Alex I've only ever been to see us playing there (and not seen us lose yet I may add).

May even resort to sitting in the away end if there's any tickets left, which I very much doubt. Probably get killed for cheering the Arsenal goals as well.......

Arsenal Tickets

As Johan mentions, there's no general sale this game, which means you have to be a season ticket holder or a member. Even if you were a member, it'd be tough - tickets are sold out, and there's no tickets currently available for exchange. I guess you could try the touts outside the Emirates.

Apologies for rubbing it in, but I will be sitting here, as usual:

Nice view

Presumably there for tomorrow night as well? Jealous moi?

Wolves allocation is long gone too and I don't fancy pitching up at the stadium on the off-chance either.

Only one hope left..... another of the FPO's colleague's if a former Arsenal ladies player so I've ordered her to ask nicely if there's even the slightest chance etc etc......

My only consolation at the moment is that I doubt if the sublime Mr Fabregas will play and he, really, was the main reason for going. I know the Orchestra will still be there but would they be the same without the Conductor?

Yep

I'll be there tomorrow night. And while Fabregas might not be playing, he hasn't been conducting solo - Alex Song has been at the root of everything all season, while Diaby and Nasri have been doing a pretty good job of pulling the strings lately.

Good to see

that the team is maturing and less reliant on Senor F.

I've still got a niggling doubt that, given the Chelsea and Man Utd performances, they are "flat track bullies" (to borrow a phrase). It will be interesting to see how the cope against Barcelona, who look like they will be without Iniesta.

If they had had someone like the Drog upfront all season I think they would be uncatchable in the league by now. Should be an interesting last few weeks.
