Close to the Edge... but no cigar

Yes have just announced that they will be joining the list of rock bands who have selected a member of a tribute band as their new lead singer (step up Journey and Judas Priest, and probably lots more). Benoit David (not the pianist with the same name in reverse) is the candidate and you can see from the clip below, he does a fine job of "doing Anderson"
Plus they have the most famous keyboard player (Rick Wakeman) 's son Adam Wakeman on keyboards. He is also a bit of a lookalike, albeit now shorn of his long hair. Here is the "key-tar" battle that won Adam job:

Double Posting
Sorry to start the responses by being negative, but it's always worth using the search engine before posting a new subject - this one has been covered only recently.
Apologies
Did a scan of the site (just back from being away for a week) and didn't see it
No worries
These things are easily missed.
Adam?
I thought it was the other son, Oliver Wakeman, who was going out as Rick's stunt-double for the tour.
Double Doh !
Sorry
Makes we wonder why I bothered. You are quite right.
The Wakeman in question is Oliver
And here he is with his band
Dear God!
that was dreadful, it should come with a warning
And why not
Geoff Boycott, Bobby Charlton, Ian Rush, etc, all got replaced in their respective "bands", who carried on quite happily. Does not always happen that way. You never see The Stranglers worrying the charts these days.
When will corporate law kick in and the trades description act be invoked so we have Yes & Son, Jethro Tull Mk 8, Human League 4.0, Almost Bucks Fizz. At least that is what The Original Asia are doing.
