Calling all RT fans

I need help!! There is a re-release of the album Live,Love,Larf and Loaf that Richard recorded with French,Frith and Kaiser. It includes bonus live tracks amongst them is Night comes in which is an early favourite of mine. Is the album worth getting or experimental tosh???
Answers welcome.

Something strange.

Sorry Steve just that your post has been up for a few hours and no replies about RT. I find this astonishing.
Sorry mate haven't a clue

OK then

I'll chip in. I don't have the album, but do own about half the tracks on various other releases (exclusively RT related, which is why I'm missing several tracks).
Judging by these, LLLL has many highlights - Bird In God's Garden is lovely, with a catchy sawing fiddle, Killerman Gold Posse is wonderfully loopy, and Drowned Dog Black Night may the most 'RT' song title of all time (it starts with a menacing drone before the growled first line, 'Oh little light that shines ...'. RT fans will need no further recommendation).
You can hear clips of the last two of these on Amazon at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Live-Love-Larf-Loaf-French/dp/B000000DS8/ref=sr_...

Most of their output is......

cerebral (ha ha, see appropriate strand) tosh. I would go as far as to say that their Loch Lomond is the only song I would cross the street for, and I can't find a way of getting hold of it other than buying the whole LP, which I would resent, as it certainly ain't on i-tunes. Ideas?

I once had...

...the second CD 'Invisible Means' that had 'Loch Lomond' on it- was about 50p! Didn't do much for me to be frank so it's long gone, I've heard the first one is better though.

I think you have to be of scots descent!

And its much better than Runrigs overly reverential version.

Wish I could help...

...but more than that, I wish I knew why my initial response was to wonder why you were calling for fans of the Radio Times...
