Businesses with an unlikely musical connection

Nick Duvet's picture

I am just filling in an application for a China visa. The company I am using to process this is called 'Visa Butler'.

It's got me wondering whether they chose the name as a tribute to 'Geezer' Butler, the bass player of heavy rock pioneers Black Sabbath.

and I'm sure there must be other examples out there.

There's a ward in my local hospital called Bill Ward.

(actually there isn't, but I thought it was worth lying to you all for the purposes of an, admittedly poor quality, joke)

You could have used the alternate service

which is available to process your application via an iPhone, Blackberry or other portable device. 'China, in your Hand'(TM) they call it.

Well, he started it...

Why do you want a Chinese credit card anyway -

isn't a UK one more suitable over here?
