Blue Nile

Okay, its Sunday 13th July and according to the listings I've seen, the Blue Nile are on at Somerset House.

Given I'm half way around the world, I'm not going to make it I'm afraid (and the chances of them doing a world tour that encompasses Singapore are pretty slim I would guess).

There must be some of you put there that went .... how was it ? any hints that there may be new material forthcoming ?

give us a chance

It's only 10 o'colck in the morning the gigs not until tonight! *gulps checks tickets* yes tonight!

I know I know...

But by the time the gigs over, I'll be well away in the land of nod.....

I doubletaked as well

I've been hold these precious tickets for weeks and suddenly I see someone asking what was it like! AAAAAGH Bloody hell was it Saturday night??
Phew sunday, we'll let you know!!

Oh and yes, there's a new album on the way. Lord Buchanan was on Radio 4, the Today programme no less, saying there is one more album after this for Niles.

The band's website says that

The band's website says that their next gig after Somerset House will be the, um, Galway Raddison Hotel on 15 July. Can that be true?

It sure is true

It's part of Galway Arts Festival one of the best of its kind anywhere and one that you should put into your calander for next year or any year for that matter.

Check it out.

Let me be the first

Somerset House (it looked magnificent) was beyond great!! It was as good as you would expect.
All the favourites, one new song and Strangers in the Night in the encore.
A beautiful summer's evening and The Blue Nile, perfection!!!!
