Peter Hilgendorf's picture

PART 1: Big Star. I am never bored when they drag out the same-old power pop records. It only makes my problem worse.

  • "Kind of cool and definitely not what the crowds are saying — the idea of musician-as-artist-and-now-everyone-can-listen-to-just-what-they-want-and-the-idea-of-a-unified-experience-is-dead has been in the ascendant for so long that it's being taken as gospel."
