Being Your "Own" Tribute Band

Bodhisattva's picture

This is a very good and faithful version of their signature tune. But are there any actual members here who were on the original? Is even RF here?

unless I meringue

that's Steve Hackett live in Tokyo and Ian MacDonald was in his band then, so yes there is an original KC

Wow

Excellent detective work - any more tortuous connections to touring brands?

That's also John Wetton

Vocalist in a latter version of Crimso.

Dr Feelgood

still tour with no original members. I read an interview with Simon Nichol from Fairport Convention where he said he'd like the band to keep going when everyone in the band had either retired or died. A bit like a football team.

As usual...

The correct answer is, er, Duke Ellington

The 20th Century Schizoid Band..

..had (at one point) Mike and Peter Giles and Ian Macdonald in the line-up.
Ian Macdonald was surely the real genius behind "ITCOTCK"
