The BBC Trust are performing a review of Radio 2 and 6Music and want your views. An online survey and details of other means of contributing are available here:

Getting rid of him will be down to the controller.
The trust can't do a thing. They can potentially find that 6music isn't following it's remit or that it doesn't represent real value to the license fee payers but they have no say over individual djs.
However if anyone wishes to inform the Trust about their thoughts it can be done here.

In case anyone is considering following the link
The survey is very badly executed. All except the first question are text responses, i.e. you have to write your comments in. This is pretty bad form from a marketing point of view as responses can't be quantified and very little in the way of conclusions can be drawn from it. Experience has shown that this method of gathering data is also more likely to result in a low response as potential respondents can't be bothered to write answers, particularly when there are so many questions.
You'd think the BBC could do better, frankly.
As a media researcher ..
I couldn't agree more...
Didn't stop me from repeating the words George Lamb out as the answer to every question though.
Every little helps...
... and radio 2 and 6music do have a new controller. Its worth a try at least.
A cynic writes
"...this method of gathering data is also more likely to result in a low response as potential respondents can't be bothered to write answers, particularly when there are so many questions."
Isn' that precisely why they have chosen that - ahem - methodology?
Shows they are doing something without doing anything actually at all.
