ATM: name that tune

Skuds's picture

Does anybody know what music is used in this clip? It sounds a bit RHCP to me.

NSFW but you can probably guess that from the title of the clip.

That's an awful lot of acronyms in your post.

Even after 2 years here I have no idea what most of the post means.

Glossary

ATM: ask the massive
RHCP: Red Hot Chili Peppers
NSFW: not safe for work

Oh and pedantry alert: they're all abbreviations rather than acronyms. An acronym is an abbreviation that forms a prounceable word (NATO, UNESCO, FIFA and so on).

Its a sad reflection

that I frequent the sort of website that makes NSFW such a familiar term to me that I assume everybody else knows it ;)

I would still love to know wh\at the tune is though. I like the bit where the cymbals come to the fore and would like to hear it properly.

Will Shazam identify it?

Apparently not

I did a search on Google, with the predictable 'hilarious consequences' involved in trying to search for "let us fuck" + music.

All I found were other people asking the same thing, including one person who said in the comments of a YouTube video "what is the music called, I tried Shazam and it couldn't tell me".

Thanks for the suggestion though - it made me look up Shazam and find that, contrary to my assumptions, it is not only available for devices beginning with i.

Not at all... I've been using it on a 'normal' phone

for years. Just dial 2580 - no apps to install. It's never let me down yet.

I am a convert!

I tried Shazam on the BlackBerry (free download - compensation for the service outage earlier in the year that I didn't even notice). It took several attempts but eventually identified the music as "Special Delivery" by Pornosonic from an album called Unreleased 70s Porn Music.

Best of all the album is on Spotify and is brilliant.

Once you get past the slightly NSFW intros there is some great cheesy funk on there.

It's 'Loose Joose' by Jambone Fly

Not really. I haven't a scooby.

Look, I was bored OK?
