ATM: iPod Error 13014
I've got a bit of an oddity with my iPod. A quick Google has revealed that I'm not alone, but I haven't yet resolved the problem. So I thought I'd turn to you guys to see if any of you have a solution.
I'm running iTunes 10.4, on a Mac, and using an iPod Classic 120GB. Every time I sync the iPod I get a message saying 'The iPod "[iPod name]" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (13014).'
I've looked through the various support communities and done as they've suggested: switched off Genius, restarted my Mac, done a "soft re-start" on the iPod, changed the USB cable, but the message still appears. The bizarre thing is that the iPod clearly is syncing (track counts are being updated, newly downloaded tracks on the Mac are being added to the iPod, etc.), so it's more of annoyance than anything else. However, I'm a little concerned that it's symptomatic of a bigger issue.
So... does anyone have a tried and tested solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried...
Using a different USB port. Sometimes this does the trick.
I have now...
...but it's still happening.
Thanks anyway.
At the risk..
.. of stating the bleeding obvious - have you wiped it clean (full restore) & reinstalled all the tracks ? I appreciate that this is a royal pain in the bum - but maybe worth a go ?
Has it recently started happening after latest iTunes update ? Have you just installed Lion ?
Last resort
That's the method of last resort, mvps. I'll do that if there's absolutely no other way around the problem. (An outcome which is looking depressingly likely...)
I'm still running Snow Leopard. I updated to iTunes 10.4 a few days ago, but it worked OK with the update until last night.
Thanks.
