Art Brut
I was sceptical about them to begin with, thinking they were something of an irritating novelty act after listening to Formed A Band. Then I heard Moving To LA, wet myself with laughter, got over my cynicism and fully embraced their unique world view coupled with some thumping guitar hooks.
Eddie Argos is part of a long line of British front men who obviously aren't singers in the traditional sense but through pop music find a voice for their off-kilter ideas and 'Life Is Art' sentiments.
