ARE YOU READY TO CANDY ROCK?
Posted by Mr Drayton on 30 June 2010 - 2:48pm.
This arrived in my email. Their credentials are immaculate. Here's the highlights of the presser.
'All trained dancers (Sophia holds a gold medal for ice skating)-
these girl's are more in the vain of the Pussycat Dolls, they have played piano and key's for Dolly Parton, and have done
duets with Boy George(Emily and Katerina's father was in Culture Club)- they are
also close friends with Keisha Buchanan(Ex Sugababes).
That sells them to me. I'll see you down the front.

The usual high standard of press release spelling maintained
So was Roy Hay their dad?
The one on the left
is Roy Hay.
Not to my taste possibly but
looks like fairly standard show biz pop group c/v. The next post on the site will be someone decrying the youth of the today not "paying their dues".
Gold medal for skating?
was it the Olympics though?, I'm not easily impressed.
I wondered
if the one in the middle was deliberately holding the water bottle there, being suggestive like.
Where'd you get the photo done, Mr Drayton?
The shades look cool.
Damn!
You sussed me out. Boots developed them and my dad took them on his kodak disc camera.
They've shrunk
I had breakfast with them last year, as part of their introduction tour from the record company. Oddly they didn't bring a record with them, not even a demo.
And there were 4 young ladies at that point.
One's
evidently had a radical lifestyle change
Dancing troupe with vocals
I recall a boyband being interviewed by Dotmusic, some time in the 90s at the height of boyband mania.
Q: Bobak, what's your role in the band?
A: My role is keepin' it real.
Hiya, just to let you know,
Hiya, just to let you know, it was Emily who won the gold medal for Adult British ice dance championships! Also their father was the musical director and guitarist for Culture club he also has written over 200 songs for BoyGeorge, and many others too many to name here.
