According to a recent Popbitch newsletter, nearly all of Sainsbury's smoked salmon is produced by Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull.

I think he sold up his salmon farming operation on Skye some years back, and has moved back to the mainland.
Mrs Path and I honeymooned very near his old house there,a couple of years back, and it has possibly the best location one could wish for, on an island already chokka with wonderful locations.
