Anyone fancy a trip to The Open tomorrow?

Lenny Law's picture

I was due to be going with my mate Andy who'd picked up a couple of corporate jolly tickets. He's had to drop out, so there's one going begging.

You need to be able to get to London Victoria station for 0750 where we pick up the Orient Express to Deal. Coach to the course, all day watching the golf (normal grounds ticket - no reserved seating or anything) with a 1900 pickup, meal and wine on the Orient Express, back at Victoria for 2220.

Andy wants £150 for the ticket, which is about a third of what it cost him.

If you want it, please email me via the contacts page. I'll check my inbox every hour or so, first one gets it.

Fraser - please feel free to pull this if it is deemed unsuitable. And if your name is the first one on the list, I won't mention it to anyone else. Honest..

I'd love go

Unfortunately prior commitments prevent me going.

And if I did Rosbif would be very annoyed with me as I've withdrawn from the Dunwich Dynamo.

Straight Red Card

from The Light.

I had been invited on a jolly - sorry, high level strategy and networking opportunity - which just happened to be at The Open, involving watching the finest golfers in the world and the finest wines known to humanity - but The Light took the somewhat unsporting view that having been away most of the week, my place was to be front and centre of all actives familial. While she spent some time "catching-up" with a couple of girlfriends - meaning buying some of the most expensive fashion and cosmetics products known to Man and, also, by a strange coincidence with my planned outing, the finest wines.
