It is funny. I came across it last night and nearly posted it here.

But didn't.

This is pretty funny - and also quite reminiscent of Steven Soderbergh's almost forgotten film Schizopolis, in which some sections have the actors saying things like "generic greeting" to each other. In fact, here's a little snippet, courtesy of the imdb:

Fletcher Munson: [sunnily, on homecoming] Generic greeting!
Mrs. Munson: [warmly] Generic greeting returned!
[they kiss and chuckle at each other]
Fletcher Munson: Imminent sustenance.
Mrs. Munson: Overly dramatic statement regarding upcoming meal.
Fletcher Munson: Oooh! False reaction indicating hunger and excitement!

It's a very funny film.
